Prenatal and Postnatal Vinyasa Yoga

There is so much information nowadays, so many experts in every field and so much advice that we have lost the connection with our own bodies. Pregnancy is a great time for a woman to reconnect with her body, to get in touch with what feels good for her and what doesn't, whether it be food, exercise or any activity, doing it mindfully and paying attention. Your body has a lot to say!

About my classes

My class is a gentle flow-style yoga, meaning that we connect breath and movement and flow through poses. Every class combines strenghtening, stretching, toning, breathing and relaxation techniques to offer relief from the common discomforts of pregnancy (e.g., lower back pain, headaches, swelling in ankles).  Feeling better physically will also empower you in preparation for labor and birth. Through yoga, breath, meditation, and discussion you will develop confidence and nurture your innate wisdom to connect with your baby and enjoy this magical time.  Begin at any point of your pregnancy, no previous yoga experience is necessary.    

A little bit about your teacher

I am registered and experienced Hatha Yoga Teachers (RYT 200) and Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT)  through Yoga Alliance. I received my 200-hours teacher training in India, at Patanjali International Yoga Foundation and my 85-hours Prenatal Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training in China from amazing doula and yoga teacher Jennifer More. I believe that regular yoga and meditation helped me a lot in my own pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery. And I am sure, it will help you too. 

 

I love to work with pregnant women, it is my passion. I believe that our body is designed perfectly and we all are strong and beautiful. We just need to always remember to listen to ourselves, believe in ourselves, and do not forget to breath!

 

 

Breath is Life

By learning to link your breath and movements in a constant flow, you’ll greatly increase your ability to work with your body during labor and childbirth, encouraging a faster and more enjoyable birth experience.

 

 

 

 

How does it work?

I offer customized prenatal yoga session in a comfort of your home (in Austin, TX) . You pick the time and dates and I come to you for a full 60 minute class that is specific to your growing body's needs and your baby's. I also offer private group prenatal yoga classes (up to 4 women) at your home. Partners are welcome too - I will teach him/her how to support you, share the yoga experience and do some partnered work and basic massage.

You can choose one of the following options:

Private Yoga Class 

1 session $60

5 session package = $275 ($55/class)

10 session package = $500 ($50/class)

Private Group Yoga Class (2 to 4 women)

1 session $80

I accept either cash, Venmo, or PayPal payments for my services. Classes must be paid for in full before first class date.

Classes are 60 minutes long.

24 Hour reschedule/cancellation policy applies.

Please have the necessary props for class - one yoga mat, one or two blocks, one blanket & one bolster.
